Fished Joppa and vicinity from the canoe for over 4 hours Saturday morning with my friend Don and released over 130 fish. Largest went to my buddy at 33", weighing 20lbs. Average fish were in the 18"-24" range, with 3 over 30".
The bite was virtually non-stop the entire morning. It appeared that when the sun went behind the clouds, the bite slowed, once it was back out, the fish started hitting consistently again.
Fished Sunday morning too, but it was far from the frenzy on Saturday. Caught 20 or so micro bass.
