Met some of the guys from work for an evening of fishing at Scusset on Saturday night. Arrived at 9:00, a few of the gang had been on the beach since 7:00 but no one was having any luck. We set up about 1/8 mile down the beach to the left of the bathhou
se. We must have had eight rods out with pogie chunks, but nothing was touching the bait (not even the crabs). Most of the crew abandoned ship around midnight. Walked the beach on the way out, looked like everyone was having a slow evening. I continue
d to fish a few spots up the South Shore, eventually calling it a night (day?) at Hull gut. Not much happening. Anyone find fish Saturday night?
