Hi All,
On vaca to the Vinyard for the next couple of weeks. Could anyone recommend a shop to do rod alterations? Specifically my spinning rod is too long and I want to take a few inches of the handle if that is possible. Ergonomics is a funny thing, I just recently bought one of those stearns inflatable fishing vests (which I love by the way , makes staying on the bar later a little less stressfull and it holds alot of gear) Anyway, with the additional inch or so on the side causes my right hand to come down too far closer to the reel, and the line catches on the roller for my 706. It was very embarrasing on the bar at P.I. the other night. I usually go to Coops for tackle, but I don't think he does that stuff.
Also Whats hot down there? considering lobsterville and menemsha and maybe a trip to Chappy. Any other suggestions?
