Dave....The 650 is the older model, ie. metal body etc. I bought it 4 years ago and has had some use though very little. The other is the graphite body version, I think the model # changed to 6500SS, it may have been used twice, both still in original boxes. I also have at least one spare spool. I'd say the 650 is worth $45 and the 6500 $65. I am in Weymouth and commute to Boston so if your interested post on this site when you return.
