I needed the sinking line and a clouser to get the fly down a foot and out of the churn so the fish would see it. Once the clouser lost its eyes and the fly hovered at the top of the column the fish didn't strike; put on a new clouser and get down that extra 1 foot and they were coming out of the rocks.
