OK - no bonito anywhere I was all day. Lots of fools bonito around (small blues) but no bones in Falmouth, Middle Grounyd, OB, V.HY, Hedge Fence that I could see.
2nd - when Steve Moore says he sees big fish in 3' of water believe him.
While searching V.H for bones we chased birds into a corner and found a cove completely carpetted with bass. Steve's 1st cast had 2 40" fish follow it to the boat; I saw at least 10 others that big, Steve saw moore. Pun intended.
Big fish boated - 0. Adrenelin count - up in the ozone.
I also introduced him & his buddies to Middle Ground bass surface action which suryprisingy still continues even w/ the water temp in the mid 60's. The bait is squid, and Steve proved squid flies work as well as teaching me about suyrface sluggos.
