First of all, I'd like to say that Reel-Time is by far and away the best fishing site on the internet and better than many print publications. I have found the articles, reports, and messages interesting and very useful.
Although I have been fishing all my life, I'm a relative newcommer to saltwater flyfishing. And yet, for the past five or six years that's been my main manner of fishing. I live in Scituate and, like most of you, have fished all over from Boston Harbor, to Minot's Ledge, Plymouth Bay and the South Cape/Vinyard. My job affords me the time (not necessarily the money) to fish as I work as a school
psychologist during the academic year. Last year, I got involved in our local,
South Shore CCA chapter and remain an active member. Feel free to call me or e-mail me @ CCA if you would like further info. I also fulfilled one of my
dreams last year and received my captain's license. This spring I realized
another dream in starting up my own guide service (Reel Dream Charters
781-545-6263 for more info). In addition to running my own charter business, I
sometimes guide out of Old Salt Outfitters in Hingham Harbor. I mainly spend my
time fishing the Boston Harbor area with all the many rocks, rips, ledges and
islands surrounding the harbor. I'd be more than happy to talk with anyone about fishing the harbor which still remains pretty good during the early morning and evening.
Finally, I am married to a lovely woman who understands my passion, sometimes obsession, to fish and have a beautiful son who has just hit puberty! What joy!
You folks at Reel-Time keep it up!
