Guess I'll add to the chorus. Fish tight to the bottom and retrieve slow.
I caught a couple of keeper fluke in Poppy that way and some smaller ones in
Old Harbor (Sandwich). Fly patterns don't seem to matter much; one was on a clouser and
another was on a black deceiver. I've caught them off both sandy and pebbly
bottoms.
