If you want to protect the resource for future generations it has to be done one person at a time. Do what your heart thinks is right... Long lineing should be banned period... It wasn't very long ago when it was difficult to catch a striped bass, they've come back, but it didn't happen by itself. Look at ther problems off shore with cod and haddock... If laws aren't passed to save our fisheries then we have to take actions individually. Sometimes I don't think people really care, but I won't buy any to do my part.
