Larry have you ever gone to a place like you describe in your posting and throw eels at night? Forgive me as I am a shore fisherman but it seems that you might get some BIG BASS. A friend of mine got a 44, 41, and 38 pounders in I think the Middleground(not sure last year at night on eels. I have nights like that too but then I wake up.
