Not me. But I did see him out there on Sunday afternoon. I thought he was more crazy than brave. If he slipped on one of those barnical/seaweed covered rocks in those waders, on the outgoing tide, he could be in real trouble.
While I was impressed with his position, I was more impressed with his flyfishing. There were 5 or 6 boats throwing every thing in the box at those jumping stripers without success, while he was pulling one in every couple of minutes.
OK, I have to admit, I was one of those boats. But I atleast had the sense not to park in the middle of the channel, like the other 3 or 4 boats. I was casting into the channel from the east side of the jetty, but with the same result.
WHAT DID THOSE STRIPERS WANT???
