While it concerns me that the index is down considerably in Chesapeak Bay, I am under the impression that a vast majority of New England's fishery is from the Hudson River. My thought is that a poor year class, while not a good environmental signal, may not impact the fishery here as much as that south of NY. Any thoughts.
