I attended the meetinag and was discouraged becasue of the following reasons:
1. The most vocal people were for 2 fish at 32 inches, I dont' think it
was the majority.
2. From what i understand, NH expects that the fish index is going to drop
within the next two years and the (ASFMC) expects to create tighter
restrictions. If the ASFMC says reduce kill by 50%, NH can go to
1 fish at 32 inches. It is too bad that the most conservative regulations
will be going to the most liberal.
3. The NH regulators for a lack of a better word didn't have one good thing
to say about the Maine slot limit or slot limits in general.
