Didn't get to stay for the whole thing. What I saw was very orderly, seemed to
be nothing but recreational fisherman, 50 people or so as a SWAG. Anyone who
wanted was encouraged to standup state name and place of residence and speak
out what they thought about what they thought the Striper limit should be.

They informed us that the "suggested" limit was 2 fish at 28". the room really
varied about what they wanted, a lot of people voted for a staus quo of 1 ea.
at 32", some 1 ea. at 28 " and some 2 ea. at 28".

Some people prefaced their vote with why they were voting the way they were.
Like:
The bait fish population is down so we have to decrease the number of
stripers so that doesn't get decimated also.

You have done a good job getting us to where we are now so I will vote
for your suggestion.

This is all a crock of (*&^*(&^% and we should at the least stay at status quo.

All in all I think it was a pretty good meeting IF the fish and Game actually
takes what the fishermen have to say in account.
