Hi,
I was there in the whipping gales Saturday morning. This is the earliest I've ever gotten my boat wet. Lucky I brought my ice suit.
Action was extremely slow for everyone I talked to, including myself. Trolling yeilded nothing so we utilized the wind for a while and drifted, er....well....um, WORMS! (Ugh, Sorry guys) That yielded me one 13" rainbow. (released, save 'em for later) Maybe in a week or two things will pick up.
I hope to tire of reeling in trophy trout by the May herring/striper run!
