I am looking for a bit of friendly advice concerning saltwater spinning rods. I would like to purchase a versatile rod for surfcasting which can handle the heavier stress encountered with throwing chunk bait and live eels but would not be considered too beefy and insensitve when casting plugs and poppers. I would be looking to match such a rod with my Penn 7500SS reel. Am I asking too much from one rod ? Comments from other website users would be appreciated
