That bass was in Old Bournes Pond, the one over by West Falmouth Lighthouse; the pond that got breached in the 97 hurricane.
Misdirection - not at all....
But as for Bournes Pond - yup - great spot; but me personally am usually jinxed there. I have honestly never, ever, ever caught a fish in the channel, and more often than not, go crazy in the pond w/ fish breaking all around me and ignoring anything I throw, drift, pop, jig, or live-bait at them.
Now Menahaunt on the other hand, especially at the storm break, thats a no-miss spot.
3-4 more weeks till the bright ones start showing....
