I decided to go up to Harwich to see my Mom and brother this past weekend and do some prospecting for bass. We went out Sunday in cold, drizzly conditions and tried the bridge in Chatham that goes over Stage Harbor. No fish and water temp was 38 degrees. We then went to the Herring River and tried several spots from the mouth to the footbridge with the same results, same water temp. Finally checked the Herring run in Harwich but there is so much water coming down the ladder that it is impossible to tell if any fish were moving up.
