I've been a life long avid fresh water fisherman. When I was a kid I fished a lot with a fly rod but haven't picked one up in a 100 years. After fishing (bait) with guide Bruce Scott in Nauset Marsh a couple of times last year I got hooked on striper fishing. I upgraded my boat and am ready to go for this season. While all I want to do now is catch (and ALWAYS release) fish for a while, I can see "graduating" back to the fly rod, especially after hanging around this BB for the last several months and listening to you guys. Given that I blew all my money on the boat, what is a good ECONOMICAL fly rod starter package? Where should I go to buy it? Thanks. BTW, does anyone out there know Bruce Scott. While he doesn't specialize in guiding fly fishermen, I highly recommend him. His trip is really unique. He rows you out; no engine on his dory.
