I visited the Mashpee run last week and I saw a pod of about 50 herring pooled up at the first ladder. I went back today and there were about 250 fish stacked up in the same spot. I visited the Marston Mills run today but I did not see any herring there. I also fished in the Dennis/Harwich area without seeing any sign of stripers or bait. Maybe next time!
