Unconfirmed reports from friends of friends claim that they are already taking fresh-run schoolies here on lures and jigs. Generally schoolies don't start hitting with any regularity at West Wall until the first or second week in April. However, with the near perfect conditions forecast for the next 4 or 5 days (60 to 70 degree air temps, hard SW winds, and the inevitable spike in water temp), that may be all that's needed to get things going early. It's anyone's guess. If the tide is near high or last stages of incoming in the morning or at dusk, so much the better...
