reels or any other reel where you can palm the spool will do. About $75
for a reel that accomodates 8-10wt with some backing.
Save your money for all the other toys you need...in a couple of season if your
illness still pursists, then upgrade.
LL Bean ect are all great starter rods as mentioned above.
