I used to fish off the old railroad trestle with my father back say 1970-1980
Drifting eels off the bottom used to yield HUGE stripers (40" +)
(at least to a 7 year old) but they were bigger than I was back then.
The police station bridge up to the white church bridge was primarily
a schoolie area. All the eel grass and little points along with the current
makes for good fishing.
