Judging by the other posts, this is getting kind of redundant. Was at Cross St.
Cotuit Sunday evening and caught about 8 fish but they didn't come as easily
as on Friday. Also, there were a few more pint-sized guys (under 10 inches) in the
mix. Flyfishing "shoulder" is already kicking in on me, so I used jigs and
a teaser instead. This looks like another year of limited flyfishing unless I
learn how to do it lefty.
I'm looking for other parking-accessible spots in estuaries or bays in
Cotuit-Falmouth-Osterville-Mashpee areas if others see fit to divulge the info.
Interesting post above about the Centerville River. I think this is the river
that runs past Dowses in Osterville. This place was dynamite in May last year.
But I've been hitting the mouth with no luck
when I probably should have gone further up. Any tips for parking spots upriver
would be appreciated...
