Headed out to Kent Island about 11:00 pm on Sat. night and fished the Narrows
from the 'Death Barge' (my canoe...) Caught a couple of small 12" schoolies
off the boat launch under the lights as the tide was turning.

Drove back over to the parking under the bridge and launched the canoe. Saw a
couple of breaking fish on the shadow line and decided to fish the docks
accross the way for a while. Picked up another couple of schoolies under
the Red Eye.

Went back to the shadow line and there was a decent number of breaking fish this time.
Took turns paddeling and fishing accross the Narrows in front of the line.
Picked up three fat 20+ inch stripers on sparse chart/white Clousers on a
slime line (inter.). Caught all fish on the "swing" method. These guys
would not hit a stripped fly!

Saw a guy from PA there about 10:30 pulling his tricked out Hewes Redfisher
out of the water. Said he did OK, getting about 15 or so schoolies on
the same setup as us.

Weather was excellent--bright moon, good tide, no wind, about 50 degrees.

Sean
