what you're implying? For shad? Try positioning yourself 45 degrees
up- and -across stream from fish. Cast across- and -upcurrent, letting
the weighted fly sink as the line bellies. The fly will rise, gain
speed and change direction. This "action" seems to "excit" shad.
Don't know why. Forget the spinning tackle. No pizazz. Dave
