Gary - the outgoing tide takes most of the fish to the confluence at the end
of the sand bar. After the tide changes, they start to stack up about 300
yards or so inside the bar down the beach. Had a ball there one day last year.
Best fishing is inside the bar, but if you are wading, you have a limited
window of opportunity until you will have to swim back.Best flies for me have
been the standard olive and chartreuse clousers. Season - 6/15-7/15, and September.
