I celebrated Mother's Day on the Westport by cleaning up my boat (albacore) and taking a 1 minute ride upstream to the area above spindle rock. Caught a 30 inch striper on the first cast (bad luck!) using a purple and white clouser on a sinking line in about 8 feet of water. That was it!
