Bob, my wife and I fished BBay yesterday (Sun) am from about 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. Wind was strong out of the west . We poked around the lower end of the bay but found no fish nor were there any birds working. We did run into a number of 20+ inch stripers which were stacked up between th e route 28 and rR bridge in front of Macco's bait shop. THey were holding at 8-12 feet down. We managed to pick up a few with a deep clouser on a 250 grain line. My wife lost a good one just below buoy #5 off the Mass Maritime Academy on a drift. I think it will be several more weeks before we see a greater distribution of stripers. My sense is that in the absence of a lot of bait, and a rise of a degree or so in water temp, it will continue to be a little spotty. But there are large fish in the area. does this make any sense to you.
