Norm, directions to the most productive area around Scusset beach is as follows: 1. With you back to the Sagamore Bridge, take rte 6a north about 1.5 miles and turn right onto Spencer Drive in the Kingsbridge Shores subdivision.. 2. Follow Spencer as it winds towards the beach. at the bottom of the hill you will see a beach parking lot. either park in the lot or on the street. 3. Don't worry about the signs, this is a public way. if the guy who lives next to the lot gives you any grief, just tell him you're a guest of mine. 4. This beach can be fished at an hour either side of high tide, or fish the flats and the deep backwater cuts an hour either side of low tide. 5. Walk up the beach and fish anywhere between the two jetties in front of White Cliffs. You will not be bothered. The stripers will drive the bait in and hold them tight between these two jetties. 6. It's best to glass this beach over well at low tide so you can see where the holes/flats etc. are. early am or late afternoon/pm are best times although I've take fish throughout the day.
