May 9 is also the Kayak Demo Day up at Kittery Trading Post. I bought mine
there last year and saved 10% on all supplies as well. All factory reps
were there and you can test any model they carry. One guy ubfortunately
almost washed out to sea after he dumped near the drainage pipe on a swift
outgoing tide. A little excitement. For anybody considering a 'Kyak', this
is a good place and time to do it.
Back on the subject - I would be up for the Bass River suggestion. How does
the tide effect this place? ie, what would be an ideal time to get started?
