There was a large article on Shad Roe in the Globe a week or so ago. I know they are VERY boney, in fact theres som tale about a porcupine that was thrown in the water and turned inside out to become a fish......A shad!
BTW, got two 2-3# shad at Rocks Village yesterday evening. Boat guys doing much better than those of us on the shore.
