Plum Island sand and either river current, flats, jetty or beach. There is a
large parking lot at the end and you can go in any direction from there.
The river is usually fished from a sandbar that may have moved or disappeared this
year. The beach is a deep beach with a serious undertow and loose sand, but you
do not have to cast far to get fish. Stripers are the main fish, but you may start
to see some blues early this year.
