Someone smashed the window of a car parked at Oregon Beach in Cotuit recently and walked off with a fly rod and reel -- which then was sold to a local tackle shop as a "used" rod.
So, beware of your stuff when you park these days. Someone has a taste for tackle and no hesitation about getting it. Police are looking into it.
