check back to last June or July for a good discussion on crabs and crab patterns. The overwhelming agreement was under no circumstances would you want to use crabs or crab patterns as it would never work :-).
Seriously; there was a month long discussion about the productivity of using live crabs, dead crabs or fly crab patterns on the flats.
