Knowing how much stripers like to gulp down tiny fishes dazed by pounding surf, I too checked out the Falmouth waterfront this past weekend.....lots of wind and lots of weed but alas..I found no fish. I did encounter one poor soul at trunk river who had made the drive from Boston, probably a Reel-Timer who was seduced by the tales here.
I did see birds by the hundreds in Woods Hole but had obligations at home and despite the fact that my boat was still in the water...had to leave without further investigation.
