The Coastal Conservation Association (CCA) is one of the nation's largest and most powerful conservation organizations, dealing specifically with marine fisheries issues. These include fish stock management and regulations, environmental issues as they relate to fishery biology and habitat, and grass-roots support of recreational fishing issues. It gives the recreational angler a voice and has made a great impact on fisheries management. Anyone who loves to fish should become a member. It's also a good time and a way to meet others who share your love of fishing. The Massachusetts chapter has recently formed sub-chapters and the North Shore chapter is hosting Friday's auction/banquet.
