Skinning the eel...when does the salt come in to play? I'm assuming that's once you've have the prized pelt and wish to store it. Someone once told me freezing works too. I hear they thaw out fine. True? I dunno...


P.S. The season must be waning when my silly eel question drums up as much response as C & R and conservation issues. I sure hope we get a few more weeks to talk about fish instead of bait. Appreciate the tips nonetheless. Right about now, my wife is wondering why her big tupperware is sitting by the door with holes punched in it.
