I have managed to dog paddle to shore with my rod in my teeth wearing stocking
foot neoprenes. The fit was tight and no water entered the waders. I carry a
Spydeco Delica. The blade is serrated, always sharp, and it has a clip that attaches
easily to my shirt pocket. The knife is in case of tangles with old line, nets, etc.-
- the sos suspenders are the best idea.
