Information on the life history characteristics of striped bass are primarily located in books and scientific journals. You can, however see Maryland's young of the year survey results from the 1950's onward at the Maryland DNR site:

You may notice that I erred in my previous post in that the first good spawn from the 1982 fish was in 1989 and not 1990. Still, I'll stand by the gist of my arguement.
