Thanks for the excellent explaination and the great link to real data. Do you know of any similar scientific work on catch and release mortality? Have USFWS, Mass or Maine Marine Fisheries people looked into studying/documenting the suspected resident spawing populations in MA or ME? Does USFWS or Mass Marine fisheries document the size distribution of the MA commercial striper catch with any detail?
