You might want to suggest a format for posting the subject line if you feel sorting by date is important. Maybe request that all subjects might be entered as "mm/dd/yr, subject title" or "month day, subject title". It appears that the board will sort by both means but it won't see 10/3/97 and October 3 as the same date and group the entries accordingly.
Maybe requesting this format of your readers is too authoritarian, I'm not sure. There have been times, especially early and late season, when a daily snapshot of fishing conditions/results would be useful.
