Live and Learn. I found out, too late, that many of the postings were very
accurate. I tried using double clousers, one larger than the other, but
found myself fouled quite often. I missed many hits this a.m. due to the
dropper actually swimming backwards due to a foul. Also learned the mini
flashlight I brought would have done me much better had I not left it on
the front seat. Tieing a new leader in the dark was a frustrating experience.
Anyway, I did manage 4-5 schoolies from the PI beach from 5:35 - daylight.
Once the sun came up, the entire place shut down. This is happening earlier
and earlier to lead me to the conclusion that darkness is probably fairly
productive, but sleep is starting to interfere with my fishing.
after PI Beach shut down, I went to Joppa for the low outgoing and picked
up a few more. Its time to get one on the rod that I can fight with the
reel rather than the line in my basket. Size doesn't matter right? Well
it is beginning to with me. Guess the motion of the ocean aint cuttin
it anymore.
