The fish will still be around for a couple more weeks and the water temps can swing
dramatically with every cold and heat wave in this area.
I fished the flats and rocks Sunday late morning without a hit, but there are several reports
of large fish blizing the beach during the night. This was the same pattern they
had in Maine earlier. Daytime fishing was nothing in quantity and size compared to
the night, but you seem to have found the exception. I
