Water temps are just holding around 52 degrees near shore, but there is a lot of
warmer water just off shore, and that is where the fish are holding. If a good
wind brings this water inshore it will light up for probably the last good blitz
of big fish in Maine.
I have found that both spring and fall in Maine and NH 55 degrees is when you will
have excellent fishing for both small and large stripers. Once the water drops
below 50 degrees your best to rack the leaves.
Anyone else keep records, would like to hear their comments.
