I fished Popponessett Bay Oct. 3rd and caught several schoolies up to 24". One of them had a severe deformity. It had a box shaped head and its mouth was smaller than normal and placed slightly lower than where it should have been. There were no scars on the fish to show injury. I once saw a picture of a bass with this same deformity but can not recal where. Has anyone else caught a similar looking fish? Does anyone know the cause of this?
