After reading the above PI reports, I put the boat on the trailer and headed
down 10/8 after work. I had never been to the PI area in a boat before and
only fished it from shore a couple of times. Put in up in NBRPort, cruised
down the mouth of the river and fly fished around the jetty, wind and waves
were a bit much outside so went in to have a look around, maybe you guys can
tell me where I was. Going back up the river from the mouth I turned south
(left) after the party boats, slowly picked my way across the big flat that
took me into a channel which went under a small drawbridge. I followed this
channel until it opened up into a HUGE bay, is this the Joppa flats I have
heard about? If so where that channel opens into that bay it was LOADED with
schoolies chasing bait on the surface, some right up into the grass. Picked up
about a dozen on a whtie/gray deciever. What town is that on the south side
of that bay?

Tim
