Thanks to Mark. Chris & all the recent posters, I was at the Canal
at 5:45 AM this morning for my first big ditch experience. Fantastic!
I fished the jetty, (canal side about 1/3 the way out), and caught 29
schoolies to about 20". Naturally, the big one got away- broke the line
as I was lifting him out of the water- I want to believe it was about 30",
but I'll never know.
Got most on rubber shad, greenish color, from 9er lures. Will probably try
again tomorrow.
