False albacore fishing is still very good at Cape Lookout and striped bass are beginning to show on the northern beaches of the Outer Banks. A run of large red drum occurred at Cape Hatteras last night with many citation sized (40 pounds) fish being caught. The big schools of stripers and blues have not even made their initial appearances yet. The best is yet to come.
