I fished for stripers in front of my house on Bass River last April '95 and
it was unproductive.However, in Mid-May there were quite a few schoolies on
the outgoing tide about 2-3 lbs. There were thousands of shorts out at Point
Gammon(Great Island).Take care because there are lots of rocks to contend
with.My Dad, Art English and I were also joined by a half a dozen seals!that
were targeting the same fish. Skip Stratton had a grand time at Monomoy with
schools of legal size fish during the first week of June.
